After several false starts, our dig started today. They arrived at 9:30 and were quick to do their final markings before bringing in the backhoe. They dug their first test hole to discover that our ground is mostly clay. Nothing that tons of stone, extra concrete and some extra money can’t solve.
They started digging from the back of the property at about noon and excavated 2 truckloads of dirt away.
