The final day of digging! It’s impressive that in 3 days they could do all this work. The digger guy is a magician. He even dug a little ramp with the last scoop for workers to go in and out of the pool area. I got to put my foot next to the bucket and it’s deceivingly large.
We didn’t find any bodies underground which was definitely a concern. There were some roots that we knew would be there as well as some conduit & sprinkler lines. They managed to find an old bottle buried in the ground. There’s no label on it though so not sure when it’s from but I’ll try looking it up based on the markings. It’s also interesting to see the clay line in the ground.
The pool shape is there and the next part of the build is the pool frame & braces (maybe?). The kit is being delivered on Friday, 8/11.
