It’s time to make a mess!
A dump truck arrived early to drop off a huge pile of crushed blue stone.
Then the cement truck arrived.
They added vertical panels in the bench, stairs and sun deck area. Once that was done they started flooding the back and deep end of the pool with cement. Two guys were inside the pool to smooth out the deep end. One guy had a bucket (without a mop) and was filling the plastic braces.
The truck left to get a refill and the workers took a lunch break.
They continued to fill the bench, steps and sun deck with stone & cement. It was interesting how they used wood bridges to get the stone in a wheelbarrow close enough to pour.
The cement filled the sides of the pool about 1/3 of the way up to cover all the plumbing lines and protect them from all the elements.
